Job summary

Shoe Station is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily store operations as a key holder, guiding a team to deliver a customer-first experience. In this full-time role, you’ll support the General Manager, drive sales, and model outstanding service.

You will train associates, manage tasks, and participate in visual merchandising while ensuring loss prevention procedures are followed. Ready to lead in a fast-paced retail setting?

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience in retail or customer service.
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
• Must be able to obtain Key Carrier Certification within 60 days.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Age 18+ due to keyholder responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store as a key holder.
• Support the General Manager in reaching sales goals.
• Lead customer service efforts and resolve issues professionally.
• Train and guide associates on processes and standards.
• Delegate daily tasks and coordinate breaks.
• Assist with visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Perform register overrides, cash handling, and reconciliations.
• Follow loss prevention procedures.
