Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions/concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of storefront fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, process damaged merchandise, and handle record keeping (payroll, scheduling, deposits).
• Maintain clean, stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers, associates and leaders.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash; keep areas neat and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned.
