Job summary

Dollar Tree in Owensboro, KY is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store functions, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure floor and stockroom areas meet company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed and ensure the seasonal areas of the store are maintained.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards and ensure stockroom and sales floor are neat and organized.
• Assist in training and developing Store Associates and supporting a positive team environment.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash and inventory; adhere to safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and provide a welcoming shopping experience.
