Job summary

Dollar Tree in Landrum, SC is seeking a part-time Store Associate to support daily store operations and deliver friendly customer service. You will assist with merchandise placement, help customers, and ensure orderly stockrooms and sales floors.

Expect varied duties, including opening/closing procedures and adherence to company policies. The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize, transfer merchandise, and maintain seasonal areas of the store.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and maintain store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and orderly according to company standards.
• Protect store assets, including cash, and ensure policy compliance.
• Support Store Manager in training and development of associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment with professional customer interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness, restrooms, floors, waste, and general presentation.
