Job summary

Rappahannock Goodwill Industries is seeking a Team Lead at the Eagle Village location to assist in supervising the sales floor and processing department in the absence of management. You will help ensure goods are displayed attractively and customer service remains high.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent with 1+ years in retail and some supervisory experience. Ongoing training and flexible hours are required to support store operations and team development.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ years retail or related experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must complete all RGI Team Lead training programs.
• Completion of all mandatory training courses will be required as outlined by your supervisor to retain this position.

Responsibilities

• Behave as a model worker in terms of appearance, behavior, quantity, and quality of work.
• Maintain the 5S standards and score requirements consistently.
• Assure exceptionally friendly customer service.
• Assure the visual appearance and cleanliness of the sales floor, including replenishment of merchandise and advertising signs.
• Assist cashiers with voids, refunds, and X and Z readings as needed.
• Remove poor quality or damaged merchandise from the sales floor.
• Maintain safe shopping and working conditions and report problems to the Store Manager.
• Adhere to security policies and report incidents to Store Manager.
• Assist in other store functions as needed to meet goals.
• Reinforce cross training across store functions.
• Keep the Store Manager informed of problems and successes.
