Job summary

Soma is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a team and delivering a seamless customer experience at Store 5032-Paramus Park. You’ll foster a welcoming environment and develop associates to reflect our hospitality culture.

You’ll drive sales through product knowledge, omnichannel approaches, and strong execution while balancing inventory, store operations, and compliance responsibilities in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability—nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate the register and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Take ownership to achieve the financial goals of the store and motivate the team.
• Assist in hiring, development, and coaching of associates.
• Lead by example on the sales floor with product knowledge and omni-channel approach.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment reflecting brand standards.
• Manage inventory, daily replenishment, and store inventories.
• Ensure compliance with policies and guidelines.
• Build community connections through in-store events and philanthropy.
