Job summary

Hill House Home is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Newport Beach, CA store to lead sales and deliver exceptional client experiences. You will support the Store Manager with daily operations, merchandising, inventory, and staff supervision to ensure store success.

You’ll drive sales, nurture client relationships through CRM initiatives, and partner with leadership to hit targets while maintaining brand standards and a positive team environment. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in retail.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and motivational attitude.
• Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor; engage with clients to meet service goals.
• Help set and achieve sales targets and implement strategies.
• Foster CRM initiatives to retain high-potential clients.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on retention and acquisition goals.
• Assist in overall store operations; adhere to policies and merchandising standards.
• Support inventory control, stock monitoring, deliveries, and restocking.
• Delegate tasks, set goals, and monitor progress; ensure policy compliance.
• Supervise, train, and motivate staff; assist in scheduling and performance reviews.
