Job Overview

The Team Lead assists in managing the daily workflow of the store's front and back areas and has limited supervisory responsibilities in the absence of management.

Essential Functions

• Making bank deposits as required
• Maintaining security of cash and keys
• Opening and closing the store as needed
• Leading staff in daily tasks
• Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
• Providing high-quality customer service
• Ensuring timely placement of processed goods on the sales floor
• Meeting production goals set by management
• Following loss prevention and process flow guidelines
• Staffing workstations to meet goals
• Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring safety of the premises
• Communicating safety concerns promptly

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months supervisory experience
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficiency with computer systems, including POS, Windows, and internet applications
• Familiarity with safety standards in retail/warehouse environments
• Commitment to the organization’s mission
• Ability to handle cash and operate a register confidently
• Understanding of donor processes
• Leadership qualities and strong work ethic
• Sound judgment and professional communication skills
• Ability to resolve customer issues effectively
