Job summary

Intuit seeks TurboTax Retail Experts to service customers on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations in the United States. You will prepare tax returns, provide tax advice, and support software usage while building local relationships and client bases.

The role emphasizes in-person service, community engagement, and collaboration with TurboTax marketing and networks to grow the business. Requires active tax credentials and a willingness to work a front-facing retail schedule.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with tax preparation experience.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax prep software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent TurboTax locally as a community ambassador and public face.
• Engage with prospects, nurture leads, and convert them into long-term clients.
• Lead and participate in local marketing with TurboTax support.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Conduct discovery sessions and reviews to uncover deductions and plan for the future.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and build long-term client relationships.
