Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will prepare tax returns, give tax guidance, and support customers in person, building trusting relationships and driving local client growth.

The role emphasizes community engagement, prosocial outreach, and delivering top-tier customer experiences in a front-facing retail setting.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with tax preparation experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain PTIN to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to work onsite 20+ hours/week in TurboTax locations.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Willingness to wear TurboTax uniform and work in front-facing retail.

Responsibilities

• Represent TurboTax locally as a fixture and public face in the community.
• Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Lead local marketing efforts with TurboTax support to make taxes approachable.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Deliver accurate tax solutions in plain language using available resources.
