Job summary

Albertsons Companies in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Retail Support Specialist to triage store inventory issues and support replenishment systems across the FaR network. You will analyze data, coordinate with IT, planning, and store teams, and help ensure accurate inventory and a great customer experience.

The role requires 3–5 years of coordinating or project support, experience with inventory operations, and proficiency in Excel and SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or associates degree preferred.
• 3–5 years' experience coordinating or supporting senior roles.
• Experience with inventory operations or B2B support is highly preferred.
• Experience with planning software and service tools (BlueYonder, Oracle, ServiceNow).
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to work under pressure.

Main Responsibilities

The Retail Support Specialist is responsible for triaging and providing store support for replenishment system processes. This position will resolve issues, communicate, and collaborate with key departments to ensure the replenishment system is operating as planned in order to allow our stores to have appropriate inventory to provide an excellent customer experience. This position is a part of the Supply Chain department supporting Forecasting and Replenishment (FaR).

• Triage and act as a first response team for store inventory issues
• Troubleshoot cause of store inventory issues by analyzing information in multiple systems
• Communicate problems and coordinate solutions to relevant teams
• Resolve casual issues with appropriate business units (IT, Replenishment Planners, DC Operations, Demand Planners, Retail Ops, etc.)
• Analyze, recommend, and communicate policies and procedure and company best practices affecting inventory within the stores
• Ensure service issue resolution within company guidelines and service-level agreements
• Provide additional support as needed
• Participate and collaborate on the continued development of team skills, processes and projects

We Are Looking For Candidates Who Possess The Following

• Associate/Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience with Grocery Retail, Inventory Operations or B2B support highly preferred
• Experience with planning software and service tools highly preferred (BlueYonder, Oracle, ServiceNow)
• 3-5 years' experience providing coordination and/or project support to one or more senior level positions
• Ability to perform work independently under pressure and at stringent levels of efficiency
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with co-workers, senior level contacts while maintaining confidentiality of privileged information in the course of work
• Ability to multi-task and work in multiple systems at a time
• Experience writing/running SQL queries and analyzing reports
• Must have strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Must have experience with Excel features such as Pivot Tables and advanced functions
• Ability to lift 30 pounds or more
• Work typically performed in a temperature-controlled environment
• Spends long periods of time at desk or computer terminal
• Uses calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of a normal workday
