Qualifications

• Experience with receiving, tracking, and reconciling inventory in retail or grocery settings.
• Basic computer skills including email and Excel.
• Ability to monitor damaged, expired, or salvageable merchandise and process returns for credit.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain backroom cleanliness and security.
• Capable of independent decision-making and resolving inventory delivery issues.
• Effective communication with vendors, drivers, store management, and associates.
• Physical ability to lift 5-50 lbs, push/pull 10-50 lbs, and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Customer service orientation to uphold inventory and store readiness.

Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk (Icc)

A Day in the Life:

As a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk (ICC), you'll be overseeing all Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations, ensuring merchandise is accurately received, accounted for, and stocked. You'll walk the store daily to scan DSD items, identify out-of-stock or overstock conditions, and partner closely with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and the File Maintenance Clerk. You'll also communicate regularly with the Store Director to support inventory accuracy and promotional execution. Your role includes monitoring donations, managing grocery and non-perishable inventories, and maintaining a secure, clean, and organized backroom environment. Pay Transparency:

Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
