Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a retail setting.
• Thrives in a customer-first based retail environment.
• Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture.
• Effective communication skills, being open to feedback, and the ability to adapt quickly.
• Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates.
• Ability to de-escalate store and customer situations effectively.
• Must be available to work peak days and times, including varied shifts of evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Acting as Manager on Duty when scheduled to address customer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.
• Support action plans with Sales Leadership Team to improve results and ensure execution.
• Perform opening and closing routines including bank deposits, shipments, and disseminating directives.
• Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
• Provide individual and team performance feedback to managers.
• Lead in-store customer experiences with selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and product knowledge.
• Create genuine connections with customers through uncovering needs, sharing product information, demoing products, and making personalized recommendations.
• Train, coach, and motivate associates to improve selling and customer experience.
• Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, reaching, and lifting.
• Associates may climb ladders, lift, reach, bend, and kneel to obtain products for customers and to maintain the visual appearance of the store.
