Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Albuquerque, NM. You will assist with daily activities, organize merchandise from delivery to floor, and ensure seasonal displays are maintained.

You will help train and develop store associates, supervise operations, and uphold safety and company policies. The role requires strong communication and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping including payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention.
