Qualifications

• Formal tailoring training or equivalent experience.

• Strong technical skills with fabrics and trims.
• Knowledge of various sewing equipment and tools.
• Excellent communication with customers and team members.
• Team attitude and enthusiasm to support peers.
• Proficiency in all basic and advanced alterations of men's tailored clothing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in selling by greeting and engaging customers with special requests.
• Mark, alter, and press garments to ensure a perfect fit.
• Ensure proper fit of garments for customers.
• Answer customer questions and provide guidance on alterations.
• Mark garments for tailoring and press as needed.
• Maintain an open dialogue with management and team.
• Help other team members and keep the tailor shop clean and organized.
• Ensure customers are properly sized for alterations.
• Offer wardrobe ensemble suggestions when appropriate.
