Job summary

Men's Wearhouse, a division of Tailored Brands, is seeking a retail store tailor-alterations to deliver exceptional service and expertly tailor garments to individual customers. You will greet customers, mark, alter and press items, and ensure each piece fits and feels right while maintaining a clean, organized shop.

The role emphasizes strong customer interaction, tailoring knowledge for menswear, and collaboration with management and teammates to meet client needs and store standards.

Qualifications

• Formal tailoring training preferred.
• Experience as a menswear tailor preferred.
• Good technical skill.
• Knowledge of sewing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper fit of garments.
• Mark garments for tailoring.
• Alter and press garments to customer specifications.
• Assist with keeping the shop clean and organized.
• Answer customer questions and provide wardrobe suggestions.
• Maintain open dialogue with management and team.
• Help other team members when needed.
• Make sure customers are properly sized.
