Job summary

Men's Wearhouse, a division of Tailored Brands, is seeking a Retail Store Tailor - Alterations to help guests look their best. You will mark, alter and press garments, ensure proper fit, and provide friendly service throughout the customer experience.

The ideal candidate has formal tailoring training or background, strong sewing skills, and a collaborative attitude. You will work with store leadership to deliver high-quality alterations and contribute to a welcoming, organized tailor shop.

Qualifications

• Formal tailoring training preferred.
• Experience as a menswear tailor highly preferred.
• Strong technical skills with sewing equipment.
• Good communication skills and team attitude.
• Proficiency in all basic and advanced alterations of men's tailored clothing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper fit of garments.
• Answer customer questions.
• Mark garments for tailoring.
• Press garments.
• Maintain an open dialogue with management.
• Help other team members.
• Keep the tailor shop clean and organized.
• Make sure customers are properly sized.
• Offer new wardrobe ensemble suggestions.
