Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store associate for the MSP-COON RAPIDS/MAIN location in MN. The role involves maintaining store cleanliness, assisting customers, and performing standard tasks to support store operations.

Responsibilities include cleaning, stocking, cash handling, Rewards enrollment, and omni-channel support. The position may require standing long periods, occasional nights/weekends, and lifting. The company offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and products for cleaning and places products back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
• Deep clean key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways and other high traffic areas.
• Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Assist with omni-channel processes: Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
