Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Team Member in Mankato, MN to assist customers, stock shelves, and process checkout. You will help shoppers locate products, enroll them in rewards, and support omni-channel steps like BOPIS.

This role requires standing for long periods, lifting, and evening/weekend shifts; prior retail or customer service experience preferred; team-oriented environment with training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain in-stock store and merchandise recovery; handle returns/go back
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; model positive behavior
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
