Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Iowa City is seeking a motivated Retail Store Processor. You will sort, tag, and price donated merchandise, help keep the store organized, and assist in meeting daily production goals while serving the community.

This position offers paid training, flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled, with 19 hours per week. Candidates should have a high school diploma or be pursuing one and possess reliable attendance and basic math and computer skills.

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock

Training Provided
