Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Iowa City is looking for a motivated Retail Store Processor to handle donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals. This part-time role requires evening, weekend, and holiday availability as scheduled.

You will sort, tag, price merchandise, track production numbers, move items to the sales floor, assist with trucks, and maintain clean spaces. Paid training and supportive leadership help you build retail and customer service skills in

Location: Iowa City, Iowa Pay: $12.00 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 19 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock

Training Provided
