Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Galesburg, IL is seeking a Retail Store Processor. You will process donated goods, tag and price items, and help maintain organization to meet daily production goals.

This role offers part-time hours (20–28 per week), with evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled. Training is provided and teamwork is essential to support our community programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work with donors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise.

Retail Store Processor

Location: Galesburg, Illinois Pay: $15.00 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 20 to 28 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assist to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock

Training Provided
