Job summary

Dollar Tree in Roseville, MN is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. The role includes supervising daily activities, assisting customers, and helping organize merchandise from delivery to sales floor.

You will train and develop Store Associates, ensure a safe, friendly environment, manage opening/closing, and uphold company policies. This fast-paced retail role emphasizes teamwork and high-energy service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Help organize merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
