Qualifications

• 6-months experience in a supervisory and/or managerial role.
• Experience in a retail setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Collaborative work style, able to partner with all personnel to drive overall site performance.
• Driver's license and auto insurance.
• Strong decision-making skills and proven ability to manage complex situations.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Retail Store Manager with efficient and effective management of the store.
• Handle employment and personnel issues, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention.
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports (paid-outs, sales reports, vendor logs).
• Review and maintain inventory procedures and vendor invoicing.
• Order, clean, rotate merchandise; build displays; price changes.
• Assist in training and motivating store employees.
• Ensure safety practices and hazmat procedures are followed.
• Manage payroll data, timecards, and bi-weekly payroll accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain employee schedules; ensure shift coverage.
• Support bank deposits, maintenance needs, and customer service resolutions.
• Perform cashier duties when necessary; maintain store and facilities.
