Job summary

Liquidity Services is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Columbus, OH to support daily storefront operations, oversee inventory flow from online auctions to customer pickups, and drive high-quality customer service. You will supervise a small team, train staff, and coordinate with the online auction unit to ensure accurate fulfilment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 3+ years in management within retail or logistics, plus strong leadership and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience in retail, logistics, e-commerce operations, or a related customer-facing environment.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail or operational environment required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily storefront operations, including customer pickups and order flow.
• Supervise, train, coach, and motivate associates for friendly, accurate service.
• Coordinate with online auction team to support fulfillment and inventory control.
• Handle escalated customer issues and resolve conflicts professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and secure storefront.
• Support scheduling and staffing plans for peak periods.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
