Job summary

Liquidity Services operates a dynamic retail storefront and warehouse environment in Columbus, OH, seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily storefront operations and ensure exceptional customer pickup experiences.

You will supervise a small team, coordinate with online auction staff, and resolve escalated issues while improving processes to drive accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Education/ Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience in retail, logistics, e-commerce operations, or a related customer-facing environment.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail or operational environment required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily storefront operations, including customer pickups, product staging, order flow, and overall customer experience.
• Supervise, train, coach, and motivate associates to ensure efficient, friendly, accurate, and professional service.
• Coordinate with the online auction team to support seamless order fulfillment, inventory control, and timely customer pickups.
• Handle escalated customer issues and resolve conflicts professionally, escalating matters to the Retail Store Manager as appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and secure storefront aligned with company standards and operational expectations.
• Support scheduling and staffing plans to ensure optimal coverage during high-volume pickup periods and changing business needs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist with implementing best practices that improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
