Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development at our Madison Heights location. The role involves assisting with merchandising, opening/closing procedures, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

The ideal candidate has strong communication and organizational skills, experience in retail management, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs while maintaining a high-energy, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and bending.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers, address questions or concerns with a positive approach.
• Organize, transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor, maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store cleanliness and protect assets including cash.
• Assist in training and development of Store Associates and support Store Manager.
