Job summary

The Building Company in Missouri is seeking a Business Process Analyst (Store Operations) to analyse and standardise store-level processes across its retail and distribution network. You will map As-Is and To-Be workflows, identify bottlenecks, and design improved processes that drive efficiency, consistency and better customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field is required.
• 3–5 years in retail operations, process improvement, or business analysis.
• Experience mapping and optimising processes using BPMN or similar tools.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt preferred.
• Experience with ERP, POS, inventory, and logistics systems like Syspro, SAP, Klipboard, Babbage.
• Proficient data analysis and dashboard skills (Excel, Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Map As-Is and To-Be workflows for core store functions such as sales, receiving, stock control, and deliveries.
• Identify inefficiencies and non-standard practices across stores.
• Design improved processes that simplify work and improve efficiency.
• Ensure process models align with enterprise architecture and CIO strategy.
• Maintain store process documentation in the central repository.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma to reduce waste and improve throughput.
• Collaborate with Store Managers and Regional Operations to implement best practices.
• Develop SOPs and store execution checklists.
• Monitor KPIs like customer wait time, accuracy, inventory, and delivery turnaround.
• Support rollouts of digital tools and mobility solutions.
• Identify opportunities for RPA and workflow automation at store level.
• Support testing, UAT, and change adoption for new initiatives.
