Belk is seeking a Sr. Manager, Store Operations Strategy & Analytics to drive operational effectiveness across the retail organization.

You will partner with Stores, Field Leadership, and Corporate teams to standardize processes, enhance execution, manage expense controls, and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve productivity and the associate and customer experience. Job description

The Sr. Manager, Store Operations Strategy & Analytics is responsible for driving operational effectiveness, process standardization, reporting and analytics, financial stewardship, and operational support programs across the retail organization. This role partners closely with Stores, Field Leadership, and Corporate teams to develop and improve store operating procedures, enhance execution, manage expense controls, and lead cross-functional initiatives that improve productivity, reduce costs, and strengthen the associate and customer experience. The Sr. Manager serves as a critical link between stores and corporate partners, leveraging data, process & productivity improvement, project management, and operational expertise to ensure consistent execution and continuous improvement across all locations.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop team members and direct reports.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, collaboration, and customer service excellence.

• Ensure reporting accuracy and continuous improvement of reporting tools and processes.

Project Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Lead and support cross-functional projects, system enhancements, store openings and closures, and operational initiatives.
• Develop project plans, manage timelines, and coordinate stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
• Partner with Asset Protection, Finance, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Technology, Human Resources, and Field Leadership to achieve business objectives.
• Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and serve as a liaison between stores and corporate teams.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Required

Experience

• 4-6 years in retail operations, business operations, process improvement, or related fields Required
