Family Dollar in West Haven, CT is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily tasks, merchandise flow, and loss prevention while upholding company policies.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to supervise and train Store Associates. The position offers full-time hours and exposure to a fast-paced retail environment with opportunities to contribute to store performance

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail/store management experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret directives and policies.

Mansioni

• Assist with day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas to company standards and ensure fixtures are maintained.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling processes where applicable.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
