Job summary

Dollar Tree in Paragould, Arkansas is seeking a full-time Retail Associate to support daily store operations and customer service. You will assist customers, organize merchandise, and help with stockroom to sales floor transfers while maintaining clean, safe areas.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred), strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. You will participate in opening/closing procedures and support the Store Manager in training associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Move merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and maintain store communications and compliance.
• Maintain store fixtures and displays for promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and clean, including stockroom and bathrooms.
• Protect store assets, including cash, and follow safety policies.
• Help Store Manager train and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful customer and associate environment.
