Job summary

Dollar Tree in Little Rock, AR is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, supervise associates, and help maintain a clean, organized sales floor and stockroom.

The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, plus the ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment. This is a Full-time position located on-site in Little Rock, AR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand/walk frequently.
• Strong communication and written skills required.
• Able to work in a high-energy team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and handling payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and presentable store.
• Protect company assets including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
