Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service. You will help with inventory, merchandising, and daily tasks while maintaining the store's standards and safety policies.

The role emphasizes training Store Associates, guiding daily activities, and upholding a friendly, professional atmosphere for customers and colleagues. This on-site position requires the ability to lift, stand, and manage busy store periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor as needed and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention duties.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and general presentation.
