Job summary

Rural King Farm and Home Store in Pennsylvania is seeking an Assistant Store Manager Trainee to be trained for a future Store Manager role. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to deliver exceptional operations, service, and merchandising, with relocation/commuting to one of three area stores as needed.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to motivate and supervise associates, and a willingness to grow with the company through ongoing product knowledge and operations training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years retail management experience.
• Outgoing self-starter who enjoys working with people.
• Proficient with Excel and Word; able to use store software systems.
• Ability to lead, train, and supervise staff in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to ensure quality customer service and staff supervision and training.
• Direct store personnel to build revenue and meet sales goals.
• Coordinate efforts of all store personnel to build revenue and meet sales goals.
• Recruit, train and develop personnel and maintain safe, attractive displays.
