Dollar General Corporation is seeking an experienced Store Manager in Belmond, IA to lead all store processes and drive performance. You will oversee staffing, training, performance reviews and daily operations to ensure sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include recruiting, coaching, inventory management, cash handling, and enforcing company policies while maintaining a safe, well-organized shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to recruit, interview and supervise staff in compliance with policies.

Responsabilités

• Recruits, selects and retains qualified employees and ensures proper staffing.
• Provides training and conducts performance evaluations; counsels or terminates as needed.
• Makes recommendations on pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates performance, safety and policy expectations; leads meetings.
• Manages opening/closing procedures and store readiness.
• Evaluates sales, profitability, shrink and expenses; identifies improvement opportunities.
• Oversees inventory planning, stock levels and BSR/cycle counts.
• Ensures merchandise is presented and priced according to standards.
• Maintains cash control and security practices; ensures accuracy in cash handling.
• Delivers superior customer service and maintains a clean, safe store environment.
