Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a Retail Store Manager to oversee all aspects of store operations, including financial performance, staffing, merchandising, customer service, and mission integration. This leadership role drives revenue, expense, and profit outcomes while maintaining a safe, productive, and customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of retail sales experience.
• Minimum of two years of management or supervisory experience.
• Leadership skills demonstrating professional business ethics, assertiveness, and self-motivation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel with intermediate computer skills.
• Knowledge of cash registers, adding machines, credit card machines, telephones, point-of-sale systems, and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to supervise and train employees in production, merchandising, cashiering, and customer service.
• Strong interpersonal, time management, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift at least 40 pounds.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations including sales, expenses, and profit goals.
• Develop staff through coaching, training, and performance reviews.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized store environment.
• Ensure staff promote Goodwill programs and mission.
