Job summary

Dollar General seeks a Store Manager to oversee all store operations in a fast-paced retail environment. You will recruit, train, and evaluate staff while ensuring in-stock levels, accurate pricing, and strong customer service. Daily duties include opening/closing, cash handling, and enforcing company policies.

You will lead safety, shrink prevention, and staff development, driving sales growth and operational excellence across all store processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year of management experience in retail preferred.
• Ability to lead staff, manage scheduling and payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees and staff the store.
• Provide training, conduct evaluations, and address performance gaps.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing and merchandising.
• Ensure cash control, security procedures and policy compliance.
• Open and close the store, maintain a safe, clean environment.
