Dollar General Corporation is seeking an experienced store leadership professional to manage employees, ensure proper staffing, training, and performance evaluations. The role involves ordering, stocking, merchandising, and maintaining store presentation and safety standards.

You will oversee scheduling, financial integrity, and customer service leadership while ensuring compliance with company policies. The position requires strong communication, problem solving, and retail operations knowledge

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment; preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and store safety policies.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and operate cash registers and reporting systems.

Responsabilités

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees; ensures store is properly staffed.
• Provides training and conducts performance evaluations; identifies gaps and counsels or terminates when needed.
• Manages pay rate recommendations and advancement decisions.
• Communicates performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinates meetings.
• Ensures store opens and closes consistently and properly staffing is maintained.
• Evaluates operating statements for sales, profitability, and shrink; identifies cost-control opportunities.
• Manages stock by following ordering plans, BSR, and cycle counts.
• Oversees merchandise stocking, presentation, pricing, and signage.
• Maintains accurate inventory; controls damages and returns; ensures cash control and security.
