Job summary

PUMA Group in California seeks an experienced Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and cultivate a high-performing team. You will oversee staffing, training, loss prevention, and visual standards while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires 2–4 years of retail management, proven sales leadership, and strong communication. Base pay ranges from $70,304 to $80,000 plus bonus and benefits, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ management experience in a customer-focused retail environment.
• Proven ability to exceed sales goals and lead teams.
• Strong communication and MS Office familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistently high standards of customer experience in-store.
• Directly responsible for meeting sales, KPI and profitability goals.
• Recruit, train, develop and succession plan for employees.
• Oversee payroll, scheduling and cost control.
• Ensure training program completion and performance reviews.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and shrink control.
• Execute and manage marketing initiatives and events.
• Maintain POS access rights and visual standards.
• Ensure a safe, compliant working/shopping environment; travel may be required.
• Attend off-site trainings and participate in new store openings/closings.
