Job summary

Music & Arts is seeking a Retail Store Manager in Itasca, IL to run day-to-day sales and operations while delivering excellent customer service. You’ll coach a sales team, manage inventory and payroll, and oversee training for store staff. The role supports institutional sales and rental services, and you’ll promote music lessons.

Music & Arts offers benefits and a comprehensive compensation package; pay rate ranges from $19 to $21 per hour plus bonus, depending on location and experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• 3-5 years retail experience.
• Musical experience and interest.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales team to meet objectives through coaching and support.
• Stay current on financial data, inventory, and statistics.
• Ensure all products are in stock and on display.
• Oversee payroll, recruiting, hiring and training of store staff.
• Execute operational tasks for institutional sales and rental services.
• Promote Music & Arts lesson programs and assist instructors.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to every customer.
• Additional duties as assigned.
