AutoZone, Inc. is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) to join its Store Management team in Greensboro.

This transitional role prepares you for promotion into Retail Store Management through hands-on assignments, leadership training, and structured learning opportunities over 8–12 weeks. You will develop in leadership, customer service excellence, and store operations, with hands-on tasks in inventory, merchandising, training, and P&L analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a retail manager or supervisor.
• Full-time availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred for customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a high-performing store team under the Store Manager.
• Communicate clearly with employees and customers to drive execution.
• Learn to manage monthly P&L statements to optimize profitability.
• Support store operations, ensure policy compliance, and training processes.
• Assist with staffing, mentoring, and training of employees.
• Oversee customer service activities and resolve concerns proactively.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, merchandising, and sales strategies.
• Complete management skills training and learn core store operations.
