Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest Texas is hiring a Retail Store Manager in Training (MIT) in Lubbock, TX. The role oversees daily store operations and is a training path toward a General Manager position. Requires flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends. Regular full-time with a starting hourly wage of $18.00.

The MIT reports to Field Management/Director of Retail and works in the Retail department with duties spanning customer service, store safety, security, and staff development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to complete daily reports.
• Must be able to communicate with the public in a positive manner.
• Must be honest and dependable.
• Must have clean clothing and good hygiene.
• Must have valid Texas driver’s license and insurance, with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates Goodwill’s mission and Core Four values daily.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers.
• Manages all retail operations for the store location.
• Handle documentation with HR and Field Management.
• Ensure financial paperwork is completed on time with accounting support.
• Maintain safety and security procedures for the facility.
• Lead, train and develop store staff.
• Ensure store cleanliness and merchandising standards.
