Job summary

Hibbett Retail, Inc. in Chalmette, Louisiana is seeking a Manager in Training to assist the Store Manager with daily operations, merchandising, and promoting sales while upholding all company policies.

You will be knowledgeable in each product area and act as an ambassador of Hibbett I City Gear to create a standout customer experience. This hourly, non-exempt role reports to the Store Manager and serves as acting supervisor in their absence.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with initiative and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Maintain awareness of inventory, sales, and expenses.
• Direct staff to ensure department standards are met.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise.
• Protect assets and financial information through internal controls.
