Job summary

AT&T in San Jose, CA is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily store operations, guide a sales and service team, and ensure customers experience best-in-class AT&T products and services. You’ll oversee merchandising, product launches, and achievement of sales targets while delivering an extraordinary in-store experience.

You’ll mentor retail sales consultants, analyze performance, plan events and outreach, and collaborate with stakeholders on initiatives beyond the store.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people-management skills.
• 3+ years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or related industry.
• Prior management experience is expected.

You'll perform additional outreach and promotional activities, including off site events as needed. And, you won’t be in this alone. We offer best in class paid training to set you up leadership success. You’ll gain valuable experience coaching a team of retail sales consultants to ensure they meet sales and service goals.

Our most successful Store Managers have:

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry
• Prior management experience
• Well-developed planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends and AT&T mobility systems
• The ability to collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls.

Our Retail Store Managers earn a base salary between $66,100 - $99,100 + $26,000 commission with a total target compensation of $92,100 – $125,100.

Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

Store Managers are paid a competitive salary and can earn additional monthly commission dollars by meeting and/or exceeding their store’s sales objectives.
