Description

The Retail Store Manager oversees the operations of a retail location, managing staff, inventory, finances, and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate has retail management experience and a passion for the tobacco industry.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, select, and retain top talent.
• Motivate, coach, develop, lead, and train store employees.
• Develop team product knowledge and sales skills to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Manage daily store operations, including staffing, inventory, cash handling, and customer service.
• Create relationships with customers to suggest products and enhance sales.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards.
• Analyze sales and financial data to inform business decisions.
• Implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase traffic and sales.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Work over 40 hours weekly, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Knowledge and Skills: Written and verbal communication, leadership, customer service, proficiency in Microsoft Office, store operations, basic math.

Qualifications: Minimum age 21, high school diploma, 1-2 years management experience, flexible availability, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods.
