Job summary

AT&T in Abilene, TX is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily retail operations, merchandising, product launches and sales objectives while coaching a team of sales consultants for exceptional service and performance.

You will drive outreach, promotions, and training to ensure customers receive best-in-class services and products. This role requires leadership experience and strong collaboration with stakeholders to grow the business.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication abilities essential for guiding a retail team.
• Minimum three years of sales and/or customer-experience in telecommunications or related industry.
• Previous management experience required to lead store operations and initiatives.
• Solid planning, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with wireless terminology, trends, and AT&T mobility systems.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls.

Job description

In this role, you’ll oversee all aspects involved in the daily operation of a retail store. We offer best in class paid training to set you up leadership success. You’ll gain valuable experience coaching a team of retail sales consultants to ensure they meet sales and service goals.

Our most successful Store Managers have:

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry
• Prior management experience
• Well‑developed planning, analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends and AT&T mobility systems
• The ability to collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls

Compensation

Our Retail Store Managers earn between $49,500 - $74,300 + $22,000 in annual commissions yearly when sales goals are met. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
