Job summary

The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Store Manager In Training. This full-time role supports the Store Manager in daily operations, supervises staff, and helps drive sales while maintaining store appearance and safety.

Paid training and coaching are provided to develop retail and customer service skills, with a 40-hour week including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Retail leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support staff training and supervision as assigned.
• Assist store manager with production and sales goals.
• Maintain store appearance, safety, and security to meet OSHA policies.
• Assist with banking and record-keeping procedures.
• Communicate with the Store Manager about all store operations.
• Participate in ongoing coaching and development.
