Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, supervise team activities, and help drive store performance in a fast-paced retail environment. You will manage schedules, assist in action plans, and ensure excellent customer service while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive retail experience.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead and develop others.

Responsibilities

• Assist the direct leader with developing action plans to improve store results.
• Set clear job responsibilities and performance expectations for team.
• Identify training opportunities for staff development.
• Uphold company values and maintain teamwork.
• Monitor local competition and adjust plans as needed.
• Provide product feedback and assist with merchandising decisions.
• Participate in interviewing store personnel.
• Ensure compliance with inventory, cash control, and product handling policies.
• Resolve customer concerns in the leader's absence.
