Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at ALDI.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identifies training and development opportunities for direct reports.
• Communicates and models company values to create teamwork.
• Monitors competitive environment and advises adjustments to stay competitive.
• Provides product feedback and recommendations on items to carry or discontinue.
• Participates in interviewing store personnel.
• Communicates weekly information, milestones, developments, and concerns.
• Ensures adherence to inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies.
• Resolves store operations issues in the absence of the direct leader.
• Rectifies hazards and maintains equipment safety.
• Maintains store cleanliness and signage at all times.
• Maintains stock levels through ordering and merchandising.
• Ensures product quality and accurate signage.
• Supports payroll and loss prevention goals and training of new employees.
• Oversees day-to-day team operations and escalates issues as needed.
• Ensures timely completion of assigned tasks for high customer service levels.
• Complies with company policies and secures documents and data.
• Other duties as assigned
