Job summary

UNIQLO is seeking high-potential candidates for its US Management Candidate (UMC) Program to become a future store manager. The program lasts about 12 months across US stores, with hands-on leadership, merchandising, and P&L ownership, plus mentoring from senior leaders.

Start dates are January 2027 or July 2027. Salary ranges from $80,000 to $82,000, with relocation support available. Upon completion, career paths include Assistant Store Manager and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (open to all majors).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
• Available to join in-person orientation at NYC office during the first two weeks.
• Flexibility to relocate to various locations over the course of the career.
• Flexible work schedule including early mornings, late nights, overnights, weekends and holidays.
• Retail leadership experience preferred and strong work ethic.
• Analytical and proactive mindset to drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations including opening, mid-day, and closing procedures.
• Coach and develop associates through feedback and performance conversations.
• Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding and retention initiatives.
• Manage sales planning, inventory, layout and visual merchandising.
• Drive store profitability and customer satisfaction through data-driven decisions.
